What is Insurance Restoration and Loss Recovery?
Restoration of property can save you time and money. Unforeseen property damage happens every day. Fires, floods, storms, accidents, whatever the cause, the post damage needs are the same. Steamatic know how to meet this double-edged challenge. Our ability to move quickly can save you weeks of time and thousands of dollars following any loss. We provide all restoration services 24 hours a day.

When fire or water severely damages beautiful fine furniture, Steamatic’s refinishing or restoration services can be less than the cost of replacement. Soot and smoke can cause a piece of furniture to look more damaged than it really is. If the damage does not penetrate the surface, wood restoration will bring back the furniture’s original clean luster. If the surface is penetrated and the wood is charred, then stripping and refinishing may be the only option. Whatever is needed to restore your furniture to it’s original beauty, Steamatic has the expertise to do it.

How do we do this?
For upholstered furniture, we offer two proven processes: the Steamatic extraction process and the Lambrite dry cleaning process. The Steamatic extraction process is a water-based cleaning system that jets a super-hot solution deep into the fabric to remove soot and smoke odor. It leaves the furniture odor-free and ready to use in a matter of hours.

For furnishings that cannot be cleaned with a water-based solution, we use the Lambrite dry cleaning process. It deodorizes as it cleans... everything from upholstery and draperies to mattresses and lamp shades. We also use both these processes for home and office furnishings to keep them looking their best. An average of 96% of the bacteria, yeast and mold is removed to help reduce the spread of diseases and allergies.

Seven Ways Steamatic can help you recover quickly from fire and water damage

  • Structure – Steamatic can remove smoke stains, flood debris and other reminders of misfortune from all types of structures. Inside the home or building, Steamatic’s techniques can also restore ceilings, walls and hard-surface floors.
  • Odor – Smoke, mildew, decaying debris - whatever the cause or odor, it is important to begin deodorization procedures immediately. Steamatic’s deodorization process doesn’t simply cover up odors, it eliminates them.
  • HVAC – A building HVAC system should not be turned on until it has been thoroughly cleaned and deodorized. Every part of the system can often be restored - even the ductwork.
  • Contents – If not charred, your carpet, furniture, draperies and other building contents can often be restored to their predisaster condition. But remember, this is not just surface cleaning. We can easily remove soot by using our cleaning techniques, and it is important to remember that even a light coating of soot can be permanently embedded in your carpet, if improper cleaning methods are used.
  • Electronics – Damage to computers, word processing equipment and other types of electronics is often less extensive than it appears. Speed is the key to restoring as much equipment as possible to its pre-damaged state using Steamaticâs corrosion control techniques.
  • Corrosion – Exposure to smoke, water, heat, humidity and the chemicals released in a fire causes metal surfaces to corrode. Steamatic has the expertise to restore everything from circuit boards to manufacturing equipment.
  • Documents – Books, valuable papers and other documents are not usually a total loss following fire or water damage. Steamatic's capabilities include true freeze-drying, fumigation, deodorization and reproduction.
